Terms

What a report is

A Levywise report estimates the building costs a strata lot is likely to carry over the next ten years, and what that could mean for an offer. It is built from the documents you upload, the details you confirm, published trade rates, building permit data and comparable buildings.

It is general information to help you plan. It is not financial, legal, valuation or building advice, and it is not a quote. It does not replace a building inspection, a strata inspection report or advice from your conveyancer or solicitor. Get quotes for any large item before you exchange.

Accuracy

Estimates depend on what your documents say and on the details you confirm. Actual costs can be higher or lower than the range shown, and works can arise that no document or estimate anticipated. Check the details on the confirmation page carefully before paying.

Beta

Levywise is in beta and currently covers New South Wales and Victoria only. We may change how estimates are calculated as we collect more data.

Price and refunds

Reports are free during the beta. After the beta a report will cost $55 including GST, paid by card through Stripe, and we'll show the price before you pay. If we can't read your documents or can't produce your report, we'll refund you in full. Email hello@levywise.com.au about any problem with a report.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for a report is limited to supplying the report again or refunding what you paid for it, and we are not liable for decisions you make using it, including the price you offer or pay.

Your documents

Only upload documents you are entitled to use. How we handle them is set out in our privacy policy.
